John R. Stoker is the Founder and President of DialogueWORKS, LC. In these roles John has worked extensively with a number of companies, helping them increase their capacity to enhance effectiveness and improve results.

John has experience in designing strategic change and in creating and implementing training curriculum in support of company-wide improvement initiatives. Prior to founding his own companies, he worked for a number of companies, where he focused on numerous change initiatives helping those organizations change their company culture to enhance quality and continuous improvement. He also designed, authored, and facilitated numerous training courses.

John has dedicated over 20 years to improving the business results of leaders as a facilitator, speaker, and coach. He has focused on the development of interpersonal skills leaders must have in order to lead. He is experienced in the fields of leadership, change management, dialogue, critical thinking, conflict resolution, and emotional intelligence. He has worked with clients both nationally and internationally; his list of clients includes Cox Communications, Comcast Cable, Banner Health, Wheaton Franciscan Medical Group, HCA Healthcare, Lockheed Martin, Turner Broadcasting, U.S. Tobacco, Eastman-Kodak, AT&T, OG&E, Alcon Labs,, Maxum Petroleum, Cigna Health Plan, Nebraska Furniture Mart, Honeywell, Connolly Healthcare, American National Bank, and Sonic Automotive.

John has also been a practicing criminal defense attorney. He received B.A. degrees in English and French, an M.A. in Organizational Behavior, and a law degree from Brigham Young University. John is also an accomplished Grand Canyon river guide, who enjoys the exhilaration of rapids and red rock.

John is the author of the Overcoming Fake Talk: How to hold REAL Conversations that Create Respect, Build Relationships, and Get Results published by McGraw-Hill.
