Who is LeadChange?

LeadChange Group is an independent research site that helps US buyers compare HR and workforce software. We build every comparison from facts verified against vendors’ official documentation, publish the rules behind every score and keep a record of what changed. About LeadChange.

Is LeadChange free?

Yes. You never pay to read our research, compare products, request pricing or get matched, and using LeadChange does not change the price you pay a vendor.

How does LeadChange make money?

When you ask us to share your request, a matching software provider may pay us a referral fee, and a link labeled “Sponsored” may earn a commission. Payments are never an input to a score or a ranking. Read how we make money.

Do vendors pay to be listed or ranked higher?

No. We research the products buyers compare whether or not their vendor works with us. A vendor cannot pay for a higher score, a better position or a “best for” label, review a page before publication or have accurate, sourced facts removed. See For vendors.

How do you rank software?

By the LeadChange Score: 6 dimensions (capability coverage 30%, pricing transparency & value 20%, integrations & API 15%, security & compliance 15%, fit & support 10%, data confidence 10%), computed only from verified facts, times a category fit that lowers products built for another job. Rankings sort by score, then by name; nothing else changes the order. How the score works.

How are facts checked?

Each price, plan, feature, integration and certification is verified against a primary source, such as the vendor’s pricing page, documentation or trust center, and stored once with the date of that check, so every page shows the same value. Automated checks flag conflicts and stale data before a page is published. See the methodology.

How often is the data updated?

Facts are rechecked when we update a category’s research, when we learn that a vendor’s page changed and when we receive a correction request. Every score shows its “Facts checked” date, and when a fact changes, every page that uses it updates and logs the change. Our most recent check was in October 2026.

How does matching work?

You answer five questions, one per screen: what you are looking for, company size, main need, current tools and timeline. A running count shows how many products still fit. Then you add your email and first name to unlock up to three matches, chosen by stated size fit, verified evidence for your need and LeadChange Score, with why each fits and their pricing.

What happens to my data if I get matched?

Your request is shared only if you use a work email and tick the box that names the providers matched to you, up to three. Without the tick nothing is shared, and you still see your matches. A Global Privacy Control signal is treated as an opt-out. Read our privacy notice.

How do I contact a vendor?

Get matched and tick the box that names the providers you want to hear from: only they may contact you, about pricing and demos. Where a product page shows its vendor’s company details, it also links to the vendor’s own website.

Which companies is LeadChange for?

Teams that choose and pay for HR software: HR, finance and IT. We cover small businesses and larger organizations alike, and segment pages, such as rankings for small businesses, publish their own weights.

Can I use LeadChange outside the US?

Yes, but our research is written for US buyers: prices are shown in US dollars and compliance notes cover US rules. For hiring and paying people in other countries, see global HR software.

How do I report a wrong fact?

Use the correction request form. Every request gets a reference number and is reviewed within 5 business days, and a fact changes only on public evidence. Corrections are free and cannot be bought.

Who writes the research?

The LeadChange Research Team, the editorial function of LeadChange Group. Research runs through an AI-assisted pipeline: each claim is traced to a primary source and checked automatically before publication, and published pages are reviewed by an editor. Read our editorial policy.
