A Level 5 leader is an individual who blends extremen personal humility and intense professional will.
Stephan uses a slightly different definition of character-based leadership that we do here at Lead Change. However, he goes on to talk about the need to question yourself and your motives as a leader. His areas of questioning include authenticity, integrity, conscientiousness, truthfulness, compassion and accountability; all topics the various authors discuss frequently here.
So check out Stephan's post for some great questions to ask yourself to grow and remain sharp as a character-based leader.
