Over at the Leadership Freak blog, Dan Rockwell (@Leadershipfreak) posted an interesting article yesterday about the importance of both stepping forward and stepping back.  There are times when we must step back to allow others to take the lead.  He asks leaders to consider finding those individuals who embrace organizational values and then clarifying for them the mission and vision of the org.  Once that’s done, it’s time to step back.
