You Can’t Save a Dying Flower by Watering its Petals

Too often I find myself in meetings. This particular meeting I felt as though I had sat through at least a dozen times. Well, that’s because I had. During it, I had a visualization and jotted down the phrase:

You can’t save a dying flower by watering its petals.

That phrase has been housed in my journal for a few months now; powerful to me each time I run across it. Determined to bring it to life, it reminds me that the sooner I quit watering the petals and start watering the roots, the closer I become to seeing results. And something about seeing results, always pushes me to keep-on tending.

I hope this image can act as the same powerful reminder to you.
