Obstacles to Understanding

by  Mike Henry  |  Leadership Development

I had the opportunity, thanks to Lead Change member Mike Sipple Jr. (@mikesipplejr) to guest-post over at Centennial Inc.’s blog.  Established in 1975, Centennial is a respected recruiting, coaching and career development company based in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The post is about the difference between simply hearing and truly understanding others. In a word, diversity.  We recently held a Lead Change Tulsa breakfast discussion on the topic of leading a diverse organization and the post comes from my thoughts after attending the event.

Do you have people who challenge your thinking or force you to understand a history and perspective radically different from your own?  Check out the post Three Obstacles Between Hearing and Understanding.  Thanks!
