We want everyone to be able to research and compare software on LeadChange Group, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, voice control, magnification or reduced motion.
Our standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA across the site.
How we build for accessibility
- Structure: every page has one main heading, landmark regions and a "Skip to content" link, and the page language is declared.
- Keyboard: menus, the site search, the matching form and the correction form work with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator. Menus also follow arrow keys, and Escape closes them and returns focus to where you were.
- Motion: animations pause when they are off screen, and stop entirely when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Text and images: product logos always appear next to the product's name in text, so screen readers hear the name once; icons and decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
- Forms: every field has a visible label, and error messages are written out in text, not shown by color alone.
How we test
Before we release changes to our page templates, we test one page of every page type at phone and desktop widths with automated checks for WCAG 2.2 Level A and AA (axe-core), check that keyboard focus is never hidden behind sticky elements, and walk the menus and forms with a keyboard. Automated tools cannot catch every barrier, so we also welcome reports from readers.
Known limitations
- Bot protection on forms: the matching and correction forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, a third-party verification step we do not control. If it blocks you, write to us and we will help.
- Wide comparison tables: on small screens some tables scroll sideways instead of wrapping.
- Vendor websites: links to vendors' sites lead to pages we do not control.
Report a barrier
If something on our site is hard or impossible to use, write to hello@leadchangegroup.com with the page address and a short description of the problem. Telling us which browser and assistive technology you use helps us reproduce it.
