Sling and Toast: questions

Does Sling integrate with Toast?

Yes. Toast customers can use Sling's Scheduling Lite or Scheduling Pro, with employee details flowing from Toast and, on Pro, timesheets and sales too.

How often do Sling and Toast sync?

Every 15 minutes, except timesheets, which sync in real time. Admins can force a sync, no more than once every five minutes.

Can employees clock in on Sling instead of the Toast POS?

Yes, on Scheduling Pro: timesheets sync both ways, so either time clock works, as long as both have the same time clock settings.

Does Sling sync with Toast Payroll?

No. Sling talks to Toast Web (Toasttab), not Toast Payroll. PTO does not sync either.

Why did my wage change in Sling revert?

Toast overrides positions, locations and wages entered in Sling, and Sling reads wages from the Wage Override column in Toast Web, so change them there.

Can I delete an employee imported from Toast in Sling?

No, to protect the integration imported profiles cannot be deleted; deactivate them instead.

Which other employee scheduling software products integrate with Toast?

Homebase and 7shifts also list Toast.
