Pricing. Neither publishes prices. Paycom quotes a Core set per suite plus Complete tools, with a one-time implementation fee; ADP quotes three packages and sells API consulting hours for a fee.
Capabilities. Both cover payroll, HR, time, talent and benefits. Paycom adds employee-run paycheck checks, daily pay and Global HCM in over 190 countries; ADP adds benefits enrollment with eligibility guidance and continuous payroll calculations.
Integrations. Paycom sends benefit enrollments to carriers and general ledger reports for direct import. ADP Workforce Now offers an API through ADP API Central. Neither publishes an integration count.
Fit and support. Paycom serves every company size, assigns a dedicated specialist and implements most clients within three months. ADP Workforce Now targets employers with more than 50 workers, so it is less suited to the smallest teams.
Security. Paycom lists five ISO certifications, including 27001, and supports SAML 2.0 single sign-on. ADP names no certification on the Workforce Now pages we reviewed.
